Chain of Transportation of Vaccines: Ensuring Safety and Efficacy from Manufacturer to Patient.

The PHC MOU is a GAVI funded multisectoral, three-year (2022 - 2024) partnership program executed in eight States (Bayelsa, Gombe, Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Niger, Taraba and Zamfara of Nigeria) primarily to strengthen routine immunization and primary health care systems towards the reduction of morbidity and mortality of women and children. This photo story shows the chain of transportation of vaccines provided by GAVI to remote areas from; State cold store, to Zonal Cold Store, to LGA cold store, to Equipped Health Facilities with storage fridge, and finally to the Service point and unequipped Health Facilities.
